I’m Jonathan Spradlin, founder of Beyond the Shift Travel Co. and an Affiliate Agent of Cruise Brothers.
My background isn’t in a traditional travel agency. It’s in public safety.
I’ve spent years behind the headset as a 911 dispatcher and working in the first-responder community. I understand long shifts, overtime, missed holidays, interrupted plans, weekends spent working, and finally getting those precious days marked OFF on the schedule.
That experience is a major part of why Beyond the Shift exists—and why I take your time off seriously.
There’s something different about finally getting away from the radio, phone, pager, CAD screen, station, ambulance, cruiser, or office.
For a few days, you’re not the person answering the call.
You’re simply enjoying life.
Travel gives us the chance to experience new places, make real memories with the people we love, and disconnect from the responsibilities waiting back home.
Cruising became something I genuinely enjoyed myself. Experiencing it firsthand is what inspired me to help others discover how relaxing and easy it can be—especially when your schedule is already demanding.
That’s where Beyond the Shift comes in.
